2022: Week 11 - Texas A&M (4-6) vs. Auburn (3-6)

November 12, 2022 - Auburn, Alabama

Texas A&M loses to Auburn, who had an assistant as a head coach after the hapless Bryan Harsin was fired.

There, on the plains, the stoppable force met the moveable object.

After finishing with not only the number one recruiting class for 2022, it was the highest ranked recruiting class of all time, with 8 composite five stars and 20 four stars, the Aggies proceed to crater in spectacular fashion going 3-7 thus far for the 2022 season. In any event, this train wreck ran into an even bigger train wreck in Auburn. The plainsmen were 3-6 on the season and fresh off firing their own coach, now counting on Cadillac Williams to man the helm as the interim coach. Cadillac wheeled out something special on the $90 million dollar man, willing the noodle fight 13-10.

Aggie fans had a few thoughts on the matter:

This team has officially quit. They are just going through the motions. There is no way Jimbo survives this season.

This is the absolute worst A&M team top-to-bottom I’ve seen in 40 years.

Jimbo should offer each opposing coach $1M to kneel it every 3rd play on Offense and to play with 9 on defense. He needs to think outside the box a bit more.

So painful to watch.

So much for next year, I see massive transfers from this Jimbo shiit show.

honestly worst team ive seen since the early 2000's maybe further back. Never seen an offense this bad at the D-1 level especially with the "talent" a&m has

Turner is a dumbfuck

S Turner just summed up the season in one play. Loser play and loser culture.

Dumbo and Durfis getting outcoached by a glorified cheerleader. Wasted 3 timeouts. Check. Can't get a play in to our fish QB so he can get a play snapped with more than 5 seconds on the play clock. Check. 3 man fronts against a team that doesn't want to pass. Check. Linebackers who couldn't read, recognize and fill in the correct gap against a decent pee wee team. Check. Defense not up and ready to play multiple times. Looking over shoulders to sideline for call. Check. Outside containment that could be played better by a bunch of grumpy old men who've been commenting on that very sore subject all freakin' game! Check.

Other than that, we've looked great.

I don’t understand why we appear to be teaching our defenders to block OL by turning their shoulders away from the play.

It's getting really hard to want to keep watching Jimbo ball.

This all is going to implode after the season. #1 class in history is going to get as far away from this diasaster as possible. Wouldn’t you?

Just going to leave this here. Vandy has that same number of SEC wins as us this season and more wins overall.

And our lone SEC win is due to a fluke play and a doinked FG attempt

Auburn’s referee NIL way better than ours apparently.

I mean, what an embarrassment. Auburn is every bit as bad as we are, had the same losing streak, same SEC record, and an interim coach and we had negative yards in the second half for an entire quarter and a half. Yet, we are handcuffed to this guy because the key to the cuffs costs $90 million. If I wasn't an Aggie I would be laughing my **** off at this program. I don't blame other fan bases for ridiculing us. We did this to ourselves.

I just went out and got some sand paper. Me and myself tonight. I enjoy this pain.
